Harvey Norman secures naming rights for NRL Touch Football

first_img“Harvey Norman is delighted to become the naming rights sponsor of NRL Touch Football. It was a natural fit for us – a game of Touch brings families and friends together in the best possible way; its great fun and good exercise,” Ms Page said. “It is a partnership that will bring all that is positive about rugby league to as many people as possible. All you need is a ball and you are ready anytime, anywhere for a game of Touch Football.”Touch Football Australia Chief Executive Officer Colm Maguire applauded the partnership, adding it provides another fantastic boost for the profile of the sport. “On behalf of Touch Football Australia, I am delighted to confirm Harvey Norman’s whole-of-game sponsorship of NRL Touch Football. This is another fantastic benefit of our strategic partnership extending the relationship across our entire touch football community, Mr Maguire said “It is terrific to see such a prominent and well recognised Australian brand partner with us and provide valued investment to our sport.  The partnership further cements the relationship established between the NRL and Touch Football Australia in 2013, which created the largest sporting community in the country. To celebrate, the Australian Women’s Touch team took on a team made up of Mediaon Sunday in a prelude to the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final at ANZ Stadium. Currently the naming rights partner for All Stars, Harvey Norman CEO Katie Page said Touch Football is synonymous with the Australian way of life and consequently the Harvey Norman product.  Long term NRL supporter Harvey Norman has secured the naming rights to the game’s latest participation initiative, NRL Touch Football.center_img “We will be working with the NRL and Harvey Norman in the coming months to build a meaningful relationship with their company and our participant base. This will be demonstrated on the ground with various activation elements at our major events and at Affiliate-level across the country. Our focus has been on investing in our grassroots community.”NRL Head of Commercial Paul Kind said, “Harvey Norman has provided outstanding support to rugby league across the years and this agreement allows us to continue this partnership in one of our growth areas.”Related Files031014_harvey_norman_touch_australia-pdfRelated LinksHarvey Normanlast_img
