Honor slashes price of Honor 8C, now starts from Rs 10,999

The Honor 8X brought a very premium design to the affordable segments while the more recent Honor 8C offered some of the Honor 8X’s features at a slightly lower price. The Honor 8C went head-to-head with the Asus ZenFone Max M2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro with its starting price of Rs 11,999. However, Honor has now slashed prices of the 8C for a limited period.The Honor 8C will now start at Rs 10,999 on Amazon’s India portal. The base version with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage gets a price cut of Rs 1,000 and is now selling for Rs 10,999. The high-end variant with 64GB storage is selling for Rs 12,999. The Honor 8C is available in two colours – black and blue.The Honor 8C is supposed to be Honor’s answer to the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus ZenFone Max M2. The Honor 8C sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an HD+ pixel resolution. The display also has a notch on top.The Honor 8C is built around an octa-core Snapdragon 632 chipset. The Snapdragon 632 has eight 1.8GHz custom Kryo 250 CPU cores. The Honor 8C comes with 4GB RAM as standard and with a choice of either 32GB or 64GB storage. Users can also extend storage up to 256GB storage. The Honor 8C runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone also features dual Bluetooth to aid two Bluetooth connections to wireless devices simultaneously.When it comes to the cameras, the Honor 8C sports a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup while the front has an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
