first_img Scott Dann 1 Crystal Palace have received a major injury boost after manager Neil Warnock revealed that influential defender Scott Dann could resume training on Monday, just days after suffering knee ligament damage.Dann picked up the injury against Hull last weekend and there were fears he would be ruled out a number of months.But scans showed at the start of the week that he suffered a grade one tear and would be ruled out for at least three weeks.Warnock is thrilled that the former England Under-21 defender will not face a lengthy spell on the sidelines and will be back in action a lot quicker than they anticipated.Warnock, speaking in the Croydon Advertiser, said: “It’s good news in a way and I’ve been told he could even do straight-forward running on Monday.“It’s a grade one injury, which is the best outcome to have. I feared he’d be out for a few months.”last_img
