Baby Girl Infant Beautiful Kids Headband Hair Band Hair Flower Hair Accessories : The hair band is nice and attractive gift for the babies. It is fairly priced and i would recommend this to my friends. It is quite big for the kids head and, after all it is just a hairgrib and not a hairband as i thought when i ordered it. You get what you pay for with these cheap headbands. It was a bit frayed in places but looks pretty if you dont look too closely. Great quality and arrived on time would highly recommend. Look so cute on would recommend. My daughter has just gone 2 and a half months and it fits her perfectly. No indentation and it doesn’t slip. Everyone has given her compliments and asked where i brought it. Very pretty, looks just like the picture. Somehow my daughter managed to take the bow off. I brought this headband for my 5 month old daughter. It took a few weeks for delivery but everytime she wears it people stop me in the street and comment about how lovely the headband is and how pretty my daughter looks wearing it. I’m going to buy more headbands now as they look great on my little girl. According to Mike Bailey, an analyst at Foreground Security, the problem involves a known vulnerability in Adobe’s Flash programming language, the language used to code the Twitter widget. In response, Twitter has disabled the widget in question while they research the issue further. Oddly enough, the vulnerability in question was initially discovered back in 2006, but many website operators have yet to address it says Bailey, according to a Reuters UK news story about the potential Twitter security hole. After analyzing Twitter’s website, Bailey says the site may have been open to attack from hackers attempting to exploit this particular security hole for over a year. But the researcher doesn’t blame Adobe for the issue – the company informed programmers how to address the vulnerability years ago. Instead, this problem has to do with the “how the developers at Twitter, or whoever did this, built the Flash applications,” Bailey told a reporter at InternetNews.com. According to a post on the Twitter Status blog, the company has exercised “an abundance of caution” in disabling access to the widget as they have not yet heard about any accounts being affected by the reported vulnerability. However, says Bailey, there’s no way of know if any users were ever impacted by the issue and, if so, how many. “That is one of the big scary things; if they are being attacked, there is almost no way to find out short of a very close examination of the server logs or client logs, which generally aren’t stored,” he said. This is by no means the first security issue for the microblogging startup. The company has seen everything from DNS hijacking to the theft of corporate documents and even fell victim to a distributed denial-of-service attack which affected other social media properties on the web including LiveJournal and Facebook. Twitter users have also had their accounts hacked and have had to deal with the constant threat of internet malware posted to the site via shortened links. If anything, a news story about yet another Twitter security threat almost seems like a non-event these days, given how many issues the company has faced over the few short years they’ve been in operation. But considering current Twitter’s status as a piece of our modern-day’s communication infrastructure, it’s unnerving to hear about issues such as these…especially considering how this one in particular should have been addressed from the get-go.

Rains on Wednesday afternoon gave respite to the people in Kolkata grappling with sweltering heat and power trips over past several days.Weathermen at the Alipore Meteorological office said the rains were result of the scorching heat and added that the progress of monsoons in the city will restart by the weekend. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was around 39.6 degrees Celsius about six degrees above normal. Over the past few days, power cuts in several areas in the city late in the evening and even in the wee hours of morning have left the residents furious. The CESC authorities described the power cuts as localised faults and attributed the situation to high usage of air-conditioning till the wee hours of morning due to ongoing football World Cup.“Usually the power consumption drops after 12 in the night. But with everyone being glued to television and ACs working there have been localised faults in different areas of the city,” a senior CESC official told The Hindu. The CESC officials ruled out any ‘load shedding’. On the weather front, the relative humidity recorded in the last 24 hours was 64% in the morning and 73% in the evening. With the discomfort continuing, the State government has decided to extended the summer vacations till June 30.
In a major decision, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday decided the early release from jail of Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Ravan, who is behind bars on NSA charges after last year’s Saharanpur caste violence. He was to be released on November 1.Mr. Chandrashekhar was booked for his alleged role in last year’s caste violence in Saharanpur district, involving Dalits and upper caste Thakurs. The UP department, which is under CM Adityanath himself, in a statement said the decision was taken on sympathetic grounds taking into consideration the representations by Mr. Chandrashekhar’s mother and the “current situation.”However, the details are yet to be confirmed. The Bhim Army founder had challenged his detention under the NSA in the Supreme Court after which the apex court recently issued a notice to the state government. Two other persons, Sonu and Shivkumar, who were in jail over the Shabbirpur violence, will also be released early. They were to be in jail till October 14.The government had booked six persons under the NSA last year.

Apple and jeweler Tiffany & Co. suffered immediate censure for appearing to support the Hong Kong protests, video game giant Activision Blizzard punished a high-ranked gamer for shouting Hong Kong protest slogans during a webcast, and “South Park” published a tongue-in-cheek apology for an episode about U.S. corporations succumbing to Chinese censorship. On online forums and Weibo, web users reveled in the power of the Chinese consumer. One circulated image depicted Morey as a cartoon character lying awake at night, sleepless after squandering the Chinese market.“The outpouring of anger from Chinese internet users appears to be real rather than manufactured, with hardly any sign of dissent,” said Jessica Chen Weiss, a Cornell University professor who studies Chinese nationalism. “But this chorus of outrage also reflects how effective the Chinese government’s messaging and propaganda have been at fanning popular nationalism, depicting the Hong Kong protests as an illegitimate separatist movement and framing the ongoing trade and tech war as a national struggle against foreign aggression.”The outrage coincides with a swell of patriotism from the National Holiday at the start of this month. Nationwide, flags handed out by the government festooned shop entrances and residential buildings. As homework for the weeklong holiday, elementary schoolchildren were assigned to take a photo of themselves standing beside a flag, as well as to write poems about their feelings toward the motherland.ADVERTISEMENT But then Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted last week in support of anti-government protests in Hong Kong, and everything changed for fans like Wu. A new chant flooded Chinese sports forums: “I can live without basketball, but I can’t live without my motherland.”The burst of patriotic fervor — buoyed by Chinese companies swiftly suspending their NBA partnerships — came on the heels of a grand celebration marking 70 years of Communist Party rule in China. President Xi Jinping, the country’s most powerful leader in decades, has rallied the populace around the promise of a Chinese Dream and national rejuvenation, a stronger domestic economy paired with global influence to rival that of the U.S. It is a vision increasingly trumpeted by ordinary Chinese people, who have found solidarity amid a protracted trade war and Hong Kong democracy movement, crises that the government has portrayed as deliberate bids to contain China’s inevitable development.FEATURED STORIESSPORTSGreatest ever?SPORTSFormer PBA import Anthony Grundy passes away at 40SPORTSBecoming his own manOn China’s National Day, as audiences across the country tuned in for a military parade that showed off long-range missiles and a nuclear-armed glider, black-clad demonstrators in Hong Kong were burning the national flag and defacing photographs of Xi.The government has depicted the mass pro-democracy protests, which began peacefully in June but have grown increasingly violent, as fringe riots led by foreign-influenced separatists bent on destroying the semi-autonomous Chinese city. This narrative has largely succeeded on the mainland, where internet memes deride the protesters as “trash youth” and refer to Hong Kong as China’s “high-maintenance girlfriend.” After NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said he supported Morey’s right to free speech, angry online nationalists set their targets on the basketball league. The Government will be making greater use of economic diplomacy to increase trade and investment opportunities.Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Hon. Anthony Hylton, who made the announcement in his contribution to the 2013/14 Sectoral Debate in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 14, said the process will involve collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. The aim is to access new markets and to facilitate strategic alliances and joint ventures.“Embassies located in targeted countries will host investment and marketing counsellors with the relevant expertise. We will begin with China and the new embassy proposed to be opened in Panama,” Minister Hylton informed. He argued that, with the trade preference regime now over, the island must be integrated with the global economy, to sustain development.“Export-led growth is therefore an imperative to achieving economic development,” he argued. The Investment Minister said that while the local market is open to the world, Jamaica is not “defenseless” in protecting itself from unfair trade practices, even as it aggressively pursues new markets for its goods and services. The key to achieving this balance, he said, is to ensure that the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector is developed in tandem with the growth of large scale businesses, multinational corporations and enterprises.“This, we will pursue, through legislative and administrative reforms, consistent with global best practices,” he stated.Economic diplomacy is the use of the full spectrum economic tools of the state to achieve its national interest. Economic diplomacy includes all the economic activities, including but not limited to export, import, investment, lending, aid, free trade agreements.Contact: Alphea Saunders
