Schlabach predicted that Meyer will sit out the 2019 season before taking the USC job ahead of the 2020 campaign.Schlabach isn’t the first to predict this – Clay Travis did weeks ago – but it’s getting a ton of play. Of course, Ohio State fans on Twitter decided to see what Meyer’s wife Shelley thinks about the idea.Shelley Meyer responded to two different Twitter users about the article. In short, it doesn’t look like she has any interest. In one, she says she isn’t moving. In the other, she implies that Schlabach’s prediction is fake news.Check it out:ESPN Analyst Believes Urban Meyer Will Take Over as USC Head Coach Next Yearhttps://t.co/tPm3TcfMlV— The Buckeye Nut (@TheBuckeyeNut) January 10, 2019Nope.— Shelley ❌eyer (@spinnershells) January 10, 2019What ISN’T? ?♀️— Shelley ❌eyer (@spinnershells) January 10, 2019Of course, a lot can change in the next year. Meyer certainly has health problems, but he’s still relatively young and could have the itch to get back into coaching after a year off.Meyer won’t take a small-time job – meaning there are realistically only a few programs he’d return to coaching for. The two most mentioned schools have been USC and Notre Dame.Only time will tell – but it doesn’t look like Meyer’s wife has any interest in him returning to the sport just yet.
